In other words, to stop using the dollar for oil transactions. Countries such as Nigeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Angola were ready to change their currencies. Unfortunately in March 2011, the NATO-led coalition began a military intervention in Libya in the name of freedom\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Muammar Gaddafi, was certainly an unusual, so-called \u2018dictator.\u2019 &nbsp;In fact Libya under Gaddafi was Africa\u2019s most prosperous democracy. &nbsp;Their government was much more responsive to the people than the United States, Britain or any other western democracy. &nbsp;Given the lies and distortions of the bankster-controlled media, this does not seem possible, but the fundamental difference between our so-called \u2018democratic\u2019 systems and Libya\u2019s direct democracy was that in Libya, citizens were given the chance to contribute directly to the political decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a very tightly Zionist-controlled, indirect form of democracy with no real say in how the government is run. &nbsp;We only get to pretend to elect the puppet-criminals who run the country only for the benefit of the bankster-Elite. &nbsp;By contrast, all Libyans were allowed to voice their views directly, not simply in one parliament or \u2018house\u2019 of a few hundred elite politicians, but in hundreds of committees, manned by tens of thousands of ordinary citizens. &nbsp;Far from being a military dictatorship, Libya, before the murder of Gaddafi, was the most prosperous and democratic nation in Africa.&nbsp; And this was the <em>real<\/em> problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>He raised&nbsp;the literacy rate from 20 per cent to 83 per cent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He built&nbsp;one of the finest health care systems in the \u2018Third World, whereby everyone had access&nbsp;to doctors, hospitals, clinics and medicines, free of charge and should a Libyan need surgery that was unavailable in Libya, funding was provided for the surgery overseas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He raised the life expectancy&nbsp;from 44 to 75 years of age.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic food items were subsidised and electricity was made available throughout the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He developed&nbsp;huge irrigation projects&nbsp;in order to support a drive towards&nbsp;agricultural development and food self-sufficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognising that&nbsp;water, not oil, would be the scarcest resource of the future, Gaddafi initiated the construction of&nbsp;the \u2018Great Man Made River,\u2019 which took years to complete. Referred to as a \u2018wonder of the modern world,\u2019 this river pumps millions of gallons of water daily&nbsp;from the heart of the Sahara desert to the coastal region, where the land is suitable for agriculture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any Libyan who wanted to become&nbsp;a farmer&nbsp;was given free use of land, a house, farm&nbsp;equipment, livestock and seed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gaddafi vowed that&nbsp;his own parents, who lived in a tent in the desert, would not be housed until every Libyan was housed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under Gaddafi, Libya had attained&nbsp;the highest standard of living in Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gaddafi put up&nbsp;a communications satellite, the first by an African nation, to bring the continent of Africa into line with 21<sup>st<\/sup> century technology. This also bypassed&nbsp;the massive fees that European companies had been charging Libya.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He gave&nbsp;women full access to education and employment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gaddafi nationalised his nation\u2019s oil reserves and used the revenue to build schools, universities, hospitals, and infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Money from Libya\u2019s oil revenue was regularly deposited into the bank account of&nbsp;every citizen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2010 Gaddafi offered to invest $97bn in Africa to free it from Western influence, on condition that African states rid themselves of corruption and nepotism. &nbsp;Gaddafi always dreamed of a well-developed, united Africa and was about to make that dream come true \u2013 and nothing was more terrifying to the banksters than a developed, united Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was also planning a return to a \u2018gold standard\u2019 and to introduce the Gold Dinar, a single African currency that would serve as an alternative to the US dollar and allow African nations to share the wealth.&nbsp; But most of all it was Gaddafi\u2019s \u2018golden oil\u2019 plan, which would have wrecked the banksters\u2019 monopoly over the global economy that signed and sealed his death warrant.&nbsp; The proposed gold dinar instituted by Libya would have had serious consequences for the corrupt world financial system, but would also have empowered the people of Africa, which the banksters wanted to avoid at all costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaddafi\u2019s gold dinar plan and his intention to cease selling Libyan oil in US dollars, demanding payment instead in gold-backed dinars, would have destroyed the US Dollar according to many observers. &nbsp;The regime, sitting on massive amounts of gold, estimated at close to 150 tons, was also pushing other African and Middle Eastern governments to follow suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saddam attempted something similar in 2000 with the result that Iraq was invaded and he was eliminated.&nbsp; Iran began selling oil in Euros rather than US Dollars and the country was immediately placed on the \u2018hit list\u2019 and totally vilified. &nbsp;And as soon as Gaddafi began plans for the gold dinar, gold for oil, he was ambushed and assassinated on the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So who else would like to play assassination-roulette with the all-powerful wizards of the banking cartels, with&nbsp;US foreign policy and dollar supremacy?&nbsp; &nbsp;No one else has the military might, nor the courage to play such a dangerous game\u2026 except for perhaps Russia and China, but they are both quite complicit in the current status quo anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The French President at the time, Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly went so far as to call Libya a,<em> \u201cthreat to the financial security of the world.\u201d &nbsp;<\/em>The Elite were apparently panicking over Gaddafi\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Any move such as that would certainly not be welcomed by the power-elite, who are responsible for controlling the world\u2019s central banks.&nbsp; <\/em><em>So yes, that would certainly be something that would cause his immediate dismissal and the need for other reasons to be brought forward for removing him from power\u2026The central banking Ponzi scheme requires an ever-increasing base of demand and the immediate silencing of those who would threaten its existence.<\/em>&nbsp; <em>Perhaps that is what the hurry [was] in removing Gaddafi in particular and those who might have been sympathetic to his monetary idea.&nbsp; Investor newsletters and commentaries have been buzzing for months with speculation about the link between Gaddafi\u2019s gold dinar and the NATO-backed overthrow of the Libyan regime.&nbsp; Conservative analysts pounced on the potential relationship, too.\u201d&nbsp; <\/em>Financial analyst, Anthony Wile, editor of the \u2018<em>Daily Bell<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Wile, Gaddafi\u2019s plan would have strengthened the entire continent of Africa in the eyes of economists backing sound money, not to mention international&nbsp;investors who had long been concerned over America\u2019s insolvency.&nbsp; It would have been especially devastating for the US economy, the American dollar, and particularly the Elite-banksters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c\u2026if Arab and African nations had begun adopting a gold-backed currency, it would have had major repercussions for debt-laden Western governments that would be far more significant than the purported \u2018democratic\u2019 uprisings sweeping the region this year. &nbsp;And it would have spelled big trouble for the elite who benefit from \u2018freshly counterfeited funny-money.\u2019 &nbsp;Had Gaddafi sparked a gold-driven monetary revolution, he would have done well for his own people, and for the world at large. But a Gaddafi-driven gold revolution would have, however, imperilled the positions of central bankers and their political and media power-brokers.\u201d <\/em>Ilana Mercer<em>, \u2018WorldNetDaily\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, none of this was reported in the western, mainstream media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding credence to the theory of why Gaddafi had to be eliminated, as <em>The New American<\/em> reported in March, was the strange decision of the \u2018rebel\u2019 opposition to Gaddafi to create a central bank to replace Gaddafi\u2019s state-owned monetary authority. &nbsp;This decision was broadcast to the world in the early weeks of the conflict.&nbsp; In a statement, the rebel council announced, among other things, the creation of a new oil company, and more significantly, <em>\u201cDesignation of the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in Libya and appointment of a Governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a temporary headquarters in Benghazi.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, in just a few short weeks, amid complete unrest in Libya, not knowing if they would or could maintain their new-found power, these mostly financially-illiterate \u2018rebels\u2019 thought that a Central Bank would be a good idea? &nbsp;Why change something that had worked perfectly for years, had brought Libya out of poverty, something that the nation owned, into a new central bank owned by the same Elitist criminals that own America\u2019s Federal Reserve? &nbsp;Why handover all of their resources to an international banking cartel? &nbsp;To thoughtfully and generously prevent a \u2018world-wide financial panic,\u2019 or because they were under the control of the international banksters?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The creation of a new central bank, even more so than the new national oil regime, left financial analysts across the world scratching their heads, and simply asking, \u2018why?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI have never before heard of a central bank being created in just a matter of weeks out of a popular uprising.&nbsp; This suggests we have a bit more than a rag-tag bunch of rebels running around and that there are some pretty sophisticated influences.&nbsp; The uprising looks like a major oil and money play, with the true disaffected rebels being used as puppets and cover while the transfer of control over money and oil supplies takes place.\u201d&nbsp; <\/em>Robert Wenzel, for the <em>Economic Policy Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2007, the former US General, Wesley Clark told <em>Democracy Now<\/em> that just ten days after 9\/11, another general had told him that the Bush government was planning to invade, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. &nbsp;What all these countries had in common at the time, was that they were not members of the BIS, the Bank of International Settlements, i.e., the banking cartel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Human Rights Watch\u2019 reported that there had NEVER been any type of civilian bloodbath by Gaddafi, contrary to what we had been told by the professional liars in the mainstream media.&nbsp; We were also told constantly that Gaddafi, was a \u2018madman,\u2019 a brutal dictator and a grave danger to peace. &nbsp;However, there is plenty of evidence to counter this.&nbsp; There is plenty of film footage depicting Ghaddafi riding in an open car, standing and waving to the crowds for miles in the open air, standing on balconies, an easy target in fact for an assassin, with no security guards to protect him. &nbsp;There were no attempts on his life during all his years as Libyan leader \u2013 except from the US, which ultimately succeeded.&nbsp; He was nothing like the much-hated and vilified fiend that he was portrayed to be by the Zionist news media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, why would a people living in such a benevolent society hate Ghaddafi? &nbsp;According to polls, over 83% of them deeply grieved his death.&nbsp; He roamed freely in Libyan streets, not once coming under attack from his people, not until he threatened the international banksters, that is. &nbsp;The killing of Muammar Gaddafi at the hands of the banksters\u2019 NATO-backed forces marked the end of a campaign expressly aimed at the assassination of a legally-elected head of state and the overthrow of a sovereign country in direct violation of international standards that had been in force since the Nuremberg trials at the end of WWII and the establishment of the Geneva Conventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NATO campaign, known as \u2018Operation Unified Protector,\u2019 was a continuation of the US-led Operation \u2018Odyssey Dawn.\u2019 &nbsp;It formally began on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March 2011 and was ostensibly an operation to enforce United Nations Security Council resolution 1973. &nbsp;From the outset, the NATO coalition partners insisted that the aim of the mission was not to assist a rebel insurgency in overthrowing the Gaddafi government, but to \u2018protect civilians,\u2019 in accordance with UN resolutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within one month, the true aim of the intervention, to assassinate Gaddafi was confirmed when NATO forces bombed the personal residence of Saif al-Arab Gaddafi, Muammar\u2019s youngest son in an admitted attempt to kill the Libyan leader himself. &nbsp;While Gaddafi himself was not caught in the strike, his son and three of his grandchildren were killed in the bombings.&nbsp; Muammar Gaddafi, leader of the Libyan people for 42 years, was brutally executed in a series of events on 20<sup>th<\/sup> October 2011 in the coastal city of Sirte. &nbsp;The city had been a bastion of resistance to the US-NATO war in Libya which had been raging for over eight months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaddafi, 69, was in Sirte directing the resistance fighters who had defended the country against a bankster imperialist-engineered civil war and bombing campaign that had resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Libyans and other foreign nationals. &nbsp;Just two days prior to the assassination of Gaddafi, Obama\u2019s Secretary of State. Hillary Clinton was in Libya meeting with the National Transitional Council rebel regime calling for the capture and killing of the leader who had ruled the North African state since the Al-Fateh Revolution of September 1969.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strike that resulted in the death of Gaddafi was initiated, organised, coordinated and led by NATO and SAS forces. &nbsp;The attack began when Gaddafi was fleeing Sirte in a convoy of 75 vehicles. Drone pilots at Creech Air Force base in Nevada launched a round of Hellfire missiles from a Predator drone aircraft, destroying the lead vehicle and prompting a French bomber to release two laser-guided 500 pound bombs into the centre of the convoy. &nbsp;British SAS troops, meanwhile, coordinated the ground forces that eventually captured Gaddafi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was initially said that Gaddafi was killed in crossfire involving loyalist forces and the NTC rebels. &nbsp;However, this fabrication quickly evaporated when a video, shot by someone in the \u2018lynch-mob\u2019 showed that Gaddafi was alive when apprehended, then beaten and brutally sodomised, before being summarily executed without trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then there were three.&nbsp; Now only three countries in the entire world are without a Rothschild-controlled Central Bank\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran, North Korea and Cuba.&nbsp; Libya is no longer on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So it is said that we are fighting a \u2018war on (of) terror\u2019 against Islamic fundamentalists. &nbsp;We are deceptively told that they are greatest threat of all, to our \u2018freedom.\u2019&nbsp; Which freedom is this I would venture to ask?&nbsp; <em>They,<\/em> not \u2018we\u2019 are killing Islamic fundamentalists in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Yemen and anywhere else the Global Hawk can reach.&nbsp; No trial or evidence is required, just summary execution by the invisible hand of western justice. &nbsp;When Bush junior was in power he said, <em>\u201c\u2026we will bring them to justice,\u201d <\/em>which apparently now only involves an Air Force computer operator in Reno, Nevada pressing the \u2018kill\u2019 button. &nbsp;In the process they (I refuse to use the term \u2018we\u2019 \u2013 these sadistic mass-murderers do not represent me) have made war and destroyed the&nbsp;infrastructure of&nbsp;several sovereign countries and killed millions of innocent people, all under the guise of \u2018liberation.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original terrorists who began the uprising in Libya, had suddenly become \u2018freedom fighters.\u2019&nbsp; By what magic did this transformation occur? &nbsp;How did Obama, Hillary Clinton et al, transform those bloodthirsty terrorists, worthy of summary execution in any other circumstances, into the heroes of liberation in Libya? &nbsp;Are these terrorists now \u2018their\u2019 new allies in the War of Terror?&nbsp;&nbsp; If our friends in the US decide to overthrow the criminal cabal in Washington and Wall Street, will they too, be embraced as \u2018heroes and liberators?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we drag the banksters through the streets, torture, beat and kill them, will we be heroes? &nbsp;In one set of circumstances they would appear to be terrorists&nbsp;and yet in another they are the new \u2018heroes of democracy.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If American \u2018patriots\u2019 took back their country back from the banks and corporations, would they still be patriots \u2013 or terrorists? &nbsp;Would they be embraced as heroes or would NATO attempt to eliminate them? &nbsp;Would they bomb them back to the Stone Age and call it \u2018saving civilian lives\u2019 and \u2018liberation?\u2019 &nbsp;Would they send in black ops and Special Forces and the SAS to track them down and coordinate air strikes? &nbsp;Would they even bother with a UN resolution or just take the law into their own hands?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaddafi was of course confused by this too. &nbsp;He now trusted the West again.&nbsp; He had turned over his WMDs to Bush, delayed upgrading his missile air defence system and long range weapons. &nbsp;He was a man of peace but the leaders of the West that had once embraced him as a friend and ally were again trying to kill him, as Reagan had in 1986. &nbsp;Beware westerners bearing gifts. &nbsp;Do you think that the banksters may have been after the spoils of war? &nbsp;The oil, and not forgetting the 144 tons of gold! &nbsp;&nbsp;Gaddafi\u2019s last recorded words to his captors were, <em>\u201cDo you know right from wrong?\u201d<\/em> &nbsp;Apparently not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many \u2018brainwashed\u2019 people seem to enjoy this macabre spectacle of betrayal and butchery.&nbsp; They justify it to themselves by convincing themselves that Gaddafi was a \u2018brutal dictator\u2019 and deserved his fate. &nbsp;I saw only the brutality of America, the UK, France, NATO and the \u2018terrorist rats\u2019 they used to depose Gaddafi. &nbsp;Libya today is a testament to the west\u2019s deception, brutality, treachery and moral corruption and also to their thievery as they the appropriate the $200bn of sovereign wealth funds Libya had invested around the world. &nbsp;The bankster-sponsored leaders of the free world are the real brutal murderers and terrorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below are possibly 16 other reasons why the international community executed Libyan Leader, Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, commonly known as Colonel Gaddafi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. There was no electricity bill in Libya, electricity was free for all its citizens during Gaddafi\u2019s reign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. There was no interest on loans, banks in Libya were state-owned and loans were given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Home considered a human right in Libya \u2013 Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi\u2019s father had died while he, his wife and his mother were still living in a tent during his reign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. All newlyweds in Libya received 60,000 Dinar (US$ 50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment so to help start-up the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Education and medical treatments were free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. During his reign, the figure was 83%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. If Libyans want to take up farming career, they received farmland, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms \u2013 all for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. If Libyans couldn\u2019t find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it \u2013 not only free but they got US $2,300\/month accommodation and car allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. In Libya during Gaddafi reign, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidised 50% of the price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per litre in Gaddafi time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Libya had no external debt and its reserves amounted to $150 billion \u2013 now frozen globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. If a Libyan was unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. A portion of Libyan oil sales was, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13. A mother who gave birth to a child received US $5,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya cost $ 0.15 during Gaddafi\u2019s reign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15. 25% of Libyans had a university degree, during Gaddafi reign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16.
