CNN employees Brian Stelter and Pamela Brown displayed a particularly amusing paucity of self-awareness \u2013 even by CNN standards \u2013 during a discussion about the exodus of Trump supporters from left-wing tech monopolies like Facebook and Twitter this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think big picture Pamela, here\u2019s the concerning trend line here: people are going more and more into their own echo chambers, more and more into their own bubbles, especially Trump voters,\u201d said Stelter, who is often referred to as CNN\u2019s \u201chouse eunuch by conservative pundit tucker Carlson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMhmm, that\u2019s what I was gonna say,\u201d Brown said, nodding in agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s this new social media app called Parler getting a lot of attention because conservatives are leaving, saying they\u2019re leaving Twitter and Facebook, going off to Parler because they believe Parler is a safer space for them,\u201d Stelter continued. \u201cWhat we\u2019re seeing is even more of a bunker mentality in right-wing media, and ultimately that\u2019s not good for the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brown then offered up her words of wisdom on the issue: \u201cNo, it\u2019s not good, it\u2019s a threat to democracy, um, that these people are in echo chambers and getting fed a diets of lies, essentially.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s always a little amusing when @CNN<\/a> worries people are going into their own partisan bubbles. (Lack of self-awareness????)
