{"id":25583,"date":"2022-05-16T11:18:59","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T01:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unshackledminds.com\/?p=25583"},"modified":"2022-05-16T11:19:01","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T01:19:01","slug":"white-house-admits-it-lied-about-vaccines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unshackledminds.com\/white-house-admits-it-lied-about-vaccines\/","title":{"rendered":"White House Admits It Lied About Vaccines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ZeroHedge<\/a> | by Tyler Durden Monday, May 16, 2022 &#8211; 04:00 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As rampant inflation continues to kick Americans in the teeth, the Biden administration can&#8217;t stop doing victory laps over how much they&#8217;ve &#8216;accomplished&#8217; &#8211; by taking credit for things that were already in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/biden-700x420_0.jpeg?w=1200&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/biden-700x420_0.jpeg?itok=jAgvXBaq\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, the White House patted itself on the back once again &#8211; bragging about &#8216;8.3 million jobs&#8217; and &#8216;the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President&#8217;s term&#8217; in history &#8212; the natural reaction to the government&#8217;s job-killing pandemic restrictions being lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But wait, <em><strong>they also lied<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; claiming that when Biden took office, &#8220;millions were unemployed <strong>and there was no vaccine available<\/strong>,&#8221; which is categorically false.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available.<br> <br>In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3M jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% \u2014 the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President&#39;s term ever recorded.<\/p>&mdash; The White House (@WhiteHouse) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WhiteHouse\/status\/1524868269148192779?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 12, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For starters, Biden himself was vaccinated before taking office. In fact, <strong>more than <a href=\"https:\/\/covid.cdc.gov\/covid-data-tracker\/#vaccination-trends_vacctrends-total-daily\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one million doses per day<\/a> were being administered when Biden took office<\/strong> under the Trump administration&#8217;s &#8216;Operation Warp Speed.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while the admin can count on Twitter <strong><em>not<\/em><\/strong> to label their tweet &#8216;false or misleading&#8217; &#8211; as they so frequently did during the last administration, <strong>the lie was so blatant that <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/05\/13\/politics\/fact-check-white-house-no-vaccine-available-tweet\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>CNN<\/em><\/a> even called them out on it &#8211; and they issued a correction the next day <\/strong>(it wasn&#8217;t a lie, they simply &#8216;misstated&#8217; a fact).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We previously misstated that vaccines were unavailable in January 2021.
