I don’t know how Pierre S. du Pont felt about the jewish ‘problem’ but Germany was making major breakthroughs in chemical research and the creation of ‘petro-carbon materials’ from coal. He would have been greatly interested in the production of ‘gasoline’ from coal as head of GM.
