SAMUT PRAKAN, THAILAND – The funerals of three young people who all died within a week of each other after having received the COVID vaccine were held in the same temple yesterday. 15-year-old Wuthidet Namo, 25-year-old Vachira, and 26-year-old Sithipol Bovornkittipaisal all died shortly after having received their second COVID jab.
The first funeral held was for Wuthidet Namo, a 15-year-old student who died at Samut Prakan Hospital on November 26th. Wuthidet had received his first jab of the Pfizer vaccine at his school on November 3rd. After the inoculation, he felt fatigued and was short of breath.
On November 24th, he received his second Pfizer jab, but after returning home, he complained about having chest pain and breathing difficulties. The 15-year-old was taken to Samut Prakan Hospital on Thursday, November 25th where his condition rapidly deteriorated and he died just a day later.
The second funeral held was for a 25-year-old man identified only as Vachira. His relatives said that he had received his first shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine on August 26th, and the second on November 12th. Eight days later on November 20th, he developed chest pains with high temperature and was admitted to hospital where he died on November 25th.
The third funeral held was for 26-year-old Sithipol who died at home in the early morning of November 23rd, just one day after having received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Doctors have said that he died from heart failure, but his relatives believe that his sudden death was due to the vaccine.
