‘Stockholm Syndrome’ Deeply Felt in the ‘Communist Republic of Melbourne’

    Sky News Australia – Sep 8, 2020

Sky News host Paul Murray says rising support for the Victorian government’s handling of the virus shows Stockholm syndrome is clearly very powerful and is deeply felt “in the communist republic at the moment.”

An opinion poll shows that support for Victorian government’s handling of the virus is going up, despite the fact that Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has put in place a “road map to a cul-de-sac where you go around and around and around and around forever,” Mr Murray said.

The poll showed support had raised from 47 per cent to 50 per cent.

“What is wrong with the people that when you’ve been told that your curfew will not extend for two weeks, it keeps going until the end of October, another 6 weeks, the ‘I stand with Dan’ crowd gains strength.”

“Stockholm syndrome is clearly very powerful and is deeply felt in the communist republic at the moment.”
