LNP Senator Susan McDonald says she is hearing people are dying with COVID-19 but not from COVID-19 and it is important statistics are correct because it affects public policy.
A recent report suggested the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have revised figures regarding COVID-19 deaths saying roughly six per cent of people who have been recorded as dying of COVID-19 in America actually died from it, according to Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.
“It’s really important that we get the facts right because it does change our public policy,” Ms McDonald said.
“It changes how states like Queensland can get away with some crazy bureaucratic rules because they’re allowing people to be terrified into listening to data that may not be right.
“That’s certainly what I’m hearing; that there are people dying with corona not from corona.”
