CCTV Footage Appears To Capture Nashville RV Explosion

    Update (1955 ET): More unconfirmed video has appeared on social media before and after the Christmas morning explosion in Downtown Nashville.

    Update (1920 ET): In the latest press conference, Nashville Mayor John Cooper said a “bomb” caused the early morning explosion in Downtown Nashville. He said, “we’re not going to rest until those responsible for this outrageous and cowardly attack are brought to justice.” 

    Update (1758 ET): The Metro Nashville Police Department released an image of the recreational vehicle that exploded in Downtown Nashville. 

    “This is the RV that exploded on 2nd Ave N this morning. It arrived on 2nd Ave at 1:22 a.m.,” said the police department.

    Update (1408 ET): Local television station WTVF is reporting a major outage of AT&T internet and phone service following the Downtown Nashville bombing.

    According to The Tennessean, the recreational vehicle exploded “near” an AT&T facility that caused widespread disruption to communication services in the metro area.
