Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the future of Australia is being decided “far more, and far more quietly” by China as the focus sits on the US election results.
His comments comes as the China Daily newspaper “boasted” China had halted seven categories of Australian goods from the market.
“America is one thing, it’s election is very important,” Mr Bolt said.
“But our future is meanwhile being decided far more, and far more quietly, not in Washington at all … but in Communist China – and not in a good way.
“Labor’s got to stop being so stupid or blind about this, there’s an economic war against us going on.
“What’s going on is very clearly an attack on Australia, a very deliberate campaign by China to make us poorer and weaker.
“I don’t think many Australians have any real idea of what they’re dealing with here; a dictatorship, one preparing for war, one that persecutes minorities – Christians too.
“One that openly says: ‘we want domination’.”
