Victorian Labor has heaped praise on Premier Daniel Andrews for holding 100 daily press conferences in a row showing just how “obscene” and preoccupied it is with spin, according to Rita Panahi.
The Victoria Labor Party released a post online congratulating the premier for the feat, which was closely followed by a deluge of Labor MPs heaping praise.
“Are you bloody kidding me,” Ms Panahi said.
“This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.
“We’ve had 100 press conferences in a row because this state is a disaster zone. Turning up daily and refusing to answer pertinent questions isn’t something I’d be praising anybody for.”
