Dad kept hearing odd noises and giggling coming from his bedroom. He grabbed one of the GoPro cameras and took it in there to see if he could locate the source.
He found nothing and placed the camera back in its usual place. Moments after sitting back down, what can only be described as a Doppelgänger of Kayliegh walks out of his bedroom clutching two dollies to its chest.
Added to the fact that Dad already knew that Kays was upstairs in her room, Dad instantly has that uncanny valley feeling and he knew that the Entity was NOT the real Kayleigh! Dad instantly calls for Kays to come downstairs, after which the doppelgänger speaks in an odd way and says, “I’m alright Dad”.
Kays comes downstairs and Dad points out the fake Kayleigh. Kays does not like this and asks for me to get rid of it. At this point the doppelgänger turns and walks back into the bedroom, out of sight.
Kays follows and finds the dolls left on the bed, but with no sign of the Doppelgänger!
NOTE The doppelgänger of Kayleigh wasn’t wearing glasses, wore no jewellery, had pigtails in its hair and also had missing tattoos that the real Kayleigh possesses. Clearly this was a mimic that hadn’t fully copied its target.
